A newly blended family called Bevan & Co. to help them pull two families together, create a fresh space for their new family as well as modernize outdated finishes. An underutilized formal living room was transformed into a chic and welcoming dining room/family room with room for everyone. Bevan used small but impactful changes to transform the home. A new backsplash and countertop in the kitchen, new hardware and an accent color for the island, an updated handrail and modern balustrade, new decorative lighting were some of the small touches to revitalize the home.

Bevan & Co. repurposed some of the clients’ existing furniture and rearranged rooms, using their keen eye for balance and scale to place the proper furniture in the appropriate room. They also reimagined two small storage closets tucked in the eaves into a sweet nursery and a child’s guest room.

The final product was a warm, layered home perfect for entertaining and family visits with a bed for everyone.
